Too often we bask in our comfortable complacency and rationalize that the ravages of war, economic disaster, famine, and earthquake cannot happen here. Those who believe this are either not acquainted with the revelations of the Lord, or they do not believe them. Those who smugly think these calamities will not happen, that they somehow will be set aside because of the righteousness of the Saints, are deceived and will rue the day they harbored such a delusion. - Ezra Taft Benson

What do Mormons think about Christ?

The name of our church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints'. Jesus Christ is the founder and chief cornerstone and head of the church. We love Him, We revere Him and we seek to always follow Him and do the things He would have us do.

"Mormon" is a nickname we've been given because of our belief in a book of scripture called "The Book of Mormon".  It is an AMAZING book and.....has been called 'the most correct book on earth".

We have been taught by Prophets of God (yes, we believe in LIVING Prophets to lead and guide the work of the Lord here upon the earth) that 'a man will get nearer to God by abiding by it's precepts (in the Book of Mormon) than by ANY OTHER BOOK.

That invitation - to abide the precepts found in The Book of Mormon, is a sacred invitation to read, study and ponder those words and ASK God for yourself, if these things are true.

We read in the Bible in James 1:5-6 - that if we ask in faith, with a sincere heart; God WILL answer our prayers and inquiries as to the truth.

"If any of you lack wisdomlet him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faithnothing wavering."
