Too often we bask in our comfortable complacency and rationalize that the ravages of war, economic disaster, famine, and earthquake cannot happen here. Those who believe this are either not acquainted with the revelations of the Lord, or they do not believe them. Those who smugly think these calamities will not happen, that they somehow will be set aside because of the righteousness of the Saints, are deceived and will rue the day they harbored such a delusion. - Ezra Taft Benson

Is Satan Real?

Is Satan real?  Yes.
He is also known by other names; the devil, the adversary, antichrist, Lucifer. He is the author of all sin, misery, corruption, and everything that is dark and evil.

We read about him all throughout scripture. His work is to make us all miserable like he is.
He doesn't have a body of flesh and blood like we do, and he does everything he can to get us to make wrong choices so that we can be under his power.

We need to know that he is real and working against us - so that we can make good choices that will lead us away from the darkness and into the Light and happiness and peace- with God and Christ.

"Agency" is one of the greatest gifts of God. We are here on this earth to learn to use it to choose good. In that way, our faith is growing and we are determining our eternal future.

Satan. The devil is the enemy of righteousness and of those who seek to do the will of God. He is literally a spirit son of God and was at one time an angel in authority in the presence of God (Isa. 14:12; 2 Ne. 2:17). However, he rebelled in the premortal life and persuaded a third part of the spirit children of the Father to rebel with him (D&C 29:36; Moses 4:1–4; Abr. 3:27–28). They were cast out of heaven, were denied the opportunity of obtaining mortal bodies and experiencing mortal life, and will be eternally damned. Since the time the devil was cast out of heaven, he has sought constantly to deceive all men and women and lead them away from the work of God in order to make all mankind as miserable as he is (Rev. 12:9; 2 Ne. 2:27; 9:8–9).

Do Mormons Believe in Angels?

Do Mormons believe in Angels?

Absolutely. Don't you?

Seeking Christ

Mary Magdalene seeks the body of Christ and is told by angels that He is risen.
All throughout scripture we read of angels that came to help people on earth. They taught them truths, revealed messages from God, and were sometimes sent to guide and comfort those in need.

Why would it be any different in our day?

Did not God say that he is the same yesterday, today and forever?

What a blessing to know that we are literally His children and He loves and cares about us.

We lived with Him before we came to earth and knew that in order to progress more, we needed to gain an earthly body and have earthy experience. This was so that we would be able to learn to walk by faith, and not by sight.

We would be tried and tested here on this earth, to see if we would be obedient and learn to follow the Spirit (which He sent to guide us.)

Angels would also be sent to minister on the earth as needed and to be messengers of truth.

What an incredible plan that has been set forth.

How grateful we are for the scriptures that teach and guide us in the right paths.

I am forever grateful for this message of Happiness.
